Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 12 July 2026
keepcite is a business built on digital accessibility, so we hold our own website to the standard we sell. This statement explains our target, how we test, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act. We consider this site to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA, and we treat any shortfall as a defect to fix.
What we do to meet it
- Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page, landmark regions, and a skip-to-content link.
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators.
- Colour contrast checked against the WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds.
- Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference.
- Form fields with associated labels and clear, text-based instructions.
How we test
We combine automated checks (accessibility linting against WCAG 2.1 AA) with manual testing: keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader testing (for example NVDA and VoiceOver), zoom and reflow to 200%, and colour-contrast verification. We re-test whenever we change the site.
Scope and limitations
